Under Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programme, PHCD works by increasing access to clean water and improving sanitation and hygiene in the County. This is to achieve increased sustainable access to and use of safe water and sanitation services, improved hygiene practices for women and marginalized groups’.
This is part of the effort to assist the communities to increase their resilience to droughts and flooding caused by a changing climate while simultaneously increasing access to improved water, sanitation and hygiene services.
